The Authority of Jesus
This study shows but one example in which Jesus showed on what authority He had to teach. This was God in the flesh, a sinless and perfect human. The elegance in which He handled many situations proved His authority over anything and everything ever created.
We, as true Christians, can use this study to show us the authority of Jesus (Part 1) and the authority that we have through Jesus (Part 2). We have authority over the fleshy lusts of the world. We have the authority to tell others about Jesus. We have authority over satan and all of his temptation and we have the authority for this authority to be our choice. It is not a demand put on us but our own choice to take this authority over sin through our loving Master, Jesus Christ.
