The Bible - The best downloadable Bible that I have found is called E-Sword. It is easy to use, it is free plus there are several translations and study guides for it. This Bible can be found at

Christian Appologetics Research Ministry (carm.org) is a great reference site. There is a lot of information there about other religions and cults (Islam, Jehova's Witnesses, Mormomanism, Roman Catholicism, Universalism, Wicca, etc.) and compares them to the Bible. They also analyze secular ideas such as abortion, atheism, evolution and relativism. All of their uses logic and evidence to defend Christianity and promote the truth of the Bible which is the inspired word of God. They also offer three schools on the Christian faith and how to defend it. They are the CARM online Schools of Theology, Apologetics, and Critical Thinking. While the website is free there is a small charge for the schools. It's a great site to check out.
